Teen Straight Talk Celebrates 30 Years

When Mary Duke, executive director of Teen Straight Talk, began her work in 1989, she thought she would only be teaching students for a year at most. Duke told the Tribune Chronicle that she never imagined that in 2018, she would still be speaking to and educating children, teens and adults on personal worth, abstinence until marriage and healthy decision making.

"Truth does not change and that message will always be the same. God has allowed me to stand faithful and do this 30 for years," Duke said at the organization's recognition dinner.

At the Abstinence Clearinghouse we are continually encouraged by the work of our partners and affiliates in spreading the message of abstinence until marriage. Thank you for continuing to inspire men and women of virtue, Mary!
