In a tweet posted on Monday, author Jennifer Wright suggested that single women stop dating and having sex with men expressing "anti-abortion views". Wright also suggested that women indicate their stance by adding the female judge emoji to their dating profiles.
Others have chosen to support a "woman's right to choose" by adding #Lysistrata2018to their posts on social media. The #Lysistrata2018 movement was named after Aristophanes's ancient Greek comedy Lysistrata in which women refused to sleep with their warring husbands until they agreed to a truce.
