Creating a World Without Sexual Exploitation

The congressional briefing, Creating a World Without Sexual Exploitation: How Consumer Demand Drives the Commercial Sex Trade and What We Can Do About It, will be delivered this Friday, July 14, 2:30-4:00pm ET, at the U.S. Capitol Visitor's Center, South Congressional Meeting Room.

According to the National Center on Sexual Exploitation (NCSE), "The event will feature public policy experts, as well as readings from the work A Day in the Life, to help members of Congress, their staff, and concerned citizens in understanding critical human rights concerns related to how consumer demand fuels the commercial sex trade." The readings and testimonies will allow attendees to better understand the lives of teens who have been forced to engage in commercial sexual exploitation and the need for improved policies.
