CDC Statistic: 20% of High School Girls Binge Drink

The following is an article distributed by the Center for Disease Control stating that 1 in 8 adult women and 1 in 5 high school-age young women binge drink. Binge drinking is characterized by having more than 4 drinks 3 or more times a month. The CDC warns young women that binge drinking can lead to serious health risks including, but not limited to increased chances of breast cancer, heart disease, sexually transmitted diseases, and unintended pregnancy.
