Biography:

Leslee Unruh is the founder of the Abstinence Clearinghouse, which has provided services to individuals spanning all 50 states and territories of the United States in addition to groups in 109 countries. Because of her expertise and concern for the health and well-being of children, she has been invited to address the World Congress of Families, the National Association of School Boards and Educators, Focus on the Family, the African Conference on the Family, the CDC, HHS and more. She has been invited to the White House on numerous occasions and has advised several administrations on sound adolescent health policy. Leslee Unruh is recognized by the national and international media as an expert on teen abstinence and relationship education. She has conducted hundreds of interviews with media sources. She is married to Dr. Allen Unruh; they have five children and thirteen grandchildren.

Leslee is the author of the book entitled Abstinence 101 and has spoken across the United States to thousands of teens on topics that concern them most- --- self-respect, sexuality and building relationships. Using a blend of humor, truth and personal experience, Leslee’s dynamic presentation is both fun and practical. She has written newspaper columns, is the author of several informative brochures and produced a TV program on teen abstinence. She has also produced video and radio presentations and has appeared on C-Pact: Oprah Winfrey Show; FOX News’ DaySide with Linda Vester; MSNBC’s Donahue Show; Dr. James Dobson’s Focus on the Family radio program; Janet Parshall’s America Live; To the Point; Trinity Broadcasting Network; Hannity and Colmes; MSNBC; MTV; and Fox News. She has been recognized in such publications as Associated Press, USA Today, TIME Magazine, Rolling Stone Magazine, New York Times, The Washington Times, Wall Street Journal, Boston Herald, and The Washington Post.
