A recently published "study" conducted by the Alan Guttmacher Institute claims that over 90 percent of Americans have engaged in premarital sex since the 1940s, with the obvious conclusion being that, as the study's author Lawrence Finer states: "Premarital sex is normal behavior for the vast majority of Americans."
The glaring omission in the article is that the Guttmacher Institute happens to be the research arm of Planned Parenthood, whose very existence depends on people living promiscuous lifestyles.
This highly suspect study is an agenda-driven publicity ploy. That the Guttmacher Institute disagrees with abstinence-only education only stands to reason: Planned Parenthood's income would dry up if everyone remained chaste until marriage.
If premarital sex is "normal" behavior, then by definition it must also be healthy behavior. Currently, 65 million Americans are infected with one or more venereal diseases, with 19 million more infected every year (more than half being age 15-24). Devastating psychological consequences are suffered by millions of those living with permanent and many times painful STDs. Factor in the 46 million abortions in the Unitd States since 1973, and it's no wonder that with all this damage done to women's reproductive organs, infertility rates have literally skyrocketed in the last 40 years. And this is "normal"?
But Planned Parenthood and its accomplices continue to oppose abstinence programs, inflicting its own brand of "sex ed" on innocent school kids, destroying their health, lives and more importantly, their souls.
